Having our customer as our primary focus is deeply ingrained in our corporate culture. The late Ken Humphrey taught this to Kirkman's staff by his example. Ken was owner of Kirkman® until he sold the company to David Humphrey his son in 2001.
Ken insisted that he and his wife answer every customer call, which they did for many years, until they couldn't keep up with the growing volume of calls Kirkman® received. Even after he reluctantly turned customer service over to staff, he was always most interested in what our customers had to say and what we had done to help.
"Are we doing all we can?" was part of our logo for many years and that slogan still guides our daily activities.
